I am so stuck!! I adore both spellings. At the moment leaning more towards Amelia though because its more traditional and the nickname 'Milly or Mia' flows more nicely with it. But I also adore ALL 'Em' names!.. So please pick which you prefer. An don't mention the name Amelie to me... I finally just cut it off the list lol. =) Thanks!

To me, Emelia & Amelia are two separate names. I say them in completely different ways. Though I think I prefer Emelia simply because Amelia is SO popular right now. You might like Emilia. [Prn. like Amelia, with an "E"] I love it. ♥

Personally, I like Emma, Emme, Emily & Amelie [WHY WHY WHY did you get rid of it? -cries- :(].
Amelia or Emelia aren't really for me.

I prefer Emilia myself

Amelia is beautiful, as are the nick names Milly or Mia! But both Milly and Mia could also be used to Emilia, though I'd probably end up using Emmy myself hehe! <3 Though same as Yas said, I pronounce them both differently <3

I adore the name Emilia.
It's kinda two of my favorite names.. Emily and Amelia combined which I like.

So thanks for the suggestion, problem solved. Im scratching Amelia & Emelia... and adding Emilia.

I got rid of Amelie.. Because everyone that I mentioned it to, didn't know how to pronounce it the French way! An it was soooo frustrating!

Buttt... everyone was pronouncing it wrong..
I only ever mentioned it to my Mum, Sister and Best friend.. and they all hated it. ...
But I didn't care what they said and kept it on my list.

An now I really, really LOVE Emilia. An I wont be mentioning that name to anyone..
but Emilia just looks so pretty and gorgeous and I love it more then Amelie now!

I didn't even purposely type Emilia.. opps! More accurately, I didn't notice Emelia had an e there instead of an i, but I'm glad you prefer it!

Tbh, thats a reason I've been iffy about Amelie myself. Its beautiful, but I feel like I'd end up being the mother who got annoyed at everyone for mispronunciations or asking how its pronounced :L Like, it looks exactly how its pronounced!!! There shouldn't be any confusion!!! Idk, maybe its just me. If I used a name like Saoirse I could understand and corrections wouldn't bother me. But Amelie is so strait forward and easy to figure out...


ANYWAYS, Emilia is gorgeous! I'm happy you came to a happy result! Do you know which middle name you want for it?
