Recently I've been falling in love with a lot of gorgeous names! I won't mention all of the guilty pleasures, there are just too many, but here are some I would love opinions on and suggestions for please.

Girls:

Matilda - I currently have Star as the middle for this, just as a quick filler, but it doesn't sit well with me.

Dorothy - It's been growing on me for a while.

Juliette - I've always loved this name, in all forms, and Julia names in general.

Boys:

Anthony - Currently I have it paired with Coe, though I'm not sure the styles match too well. I still think it's cute.

Lawrence - LOVE this, especially as there's a nice guy at work called Lawrence.

Alistair - I've liked it for a long time, but it's growing on me again.

Hector - After reading a book with a cute little boy in it called Hector, I am in LOVE with this name.

Kester - I think it's cute.

Ruben - I had this on my very first proper namelist, and it's never left my heart. I'm re-falling for it though (:

I welcome all and any feedback, whether it's just ratings of my names, or full blown essays.

Matilda - I really like this name. I've considered using it as a way to honor my mom, Milda. I think Tilly is an adorable nickname.
Dorothy - I like it but more as a middle name. Since it is a longer name, I usually look for a usable nickname and other than Dot or Dorie, Dorothy doesn't really have much. I think Dorothea nn Thea is nice!
Juliette - I like this spelling of Juliette. Juliann(e) is my personal favorite of the Julia names :)

Anthony - I've never heard of the name Coe before; it's interesting. Personally I've never been a fan of Anthony, not quite sure why. :\ But I think Anthony Coe sounds nice. What about Anthony Cove, Anthony Cade, Anthony Rohan?
Lawrence - I think Lawrence/Laurence nn Laurie is super cute on a boy [love Little Women!] I'm also a fan of Laurence in the middle name spot for a girl, though I know that isn't everyone's cup of tea. I think Lawrence is handsome and underused.
Alistair - LOVE! but sadly stuck on the guilty pleasures list...I can't seem to find the perfect combo to make it wearable.
Hector - Makes me think of The Iliad. :( Also a great hispanic heritage choice, a bit to hispanic for me.
Kester - Kester is a slang word for butt, at least it is in the south. "Get your kester out of here..." Um...no.
Ruben - I think Rue is an adorable nickname for a boy, any name that gets you to Rue is a good one in my books.

Matilda - Matilda Star is kind of cute. (: I love Matilda "Tilly."

Dorothy - Not my style, but it's pretty cute. I know a woman named Dorothy with the nickname "Dottie."

Juliette - Love this name. I personally like the spelling Juliet, but both spellings are lovely. (:

Anthony - Wow, Anthony Coe is cute! I really like the name Anthony.

Lawrence - Lawrence is cute with the nickname Larry. :D

Alistair - I really like this name as a middle. It reminds me of vampires...

Hector - Hector is a fabulous, uncommon name. (:

Kester - I've never heard of this name...seems a little feminine to me.

Ruben - I really like Ruben, it's something my older sister calls me. (:

Girls:

Matilda -This name seems a little dated to me, but I love the nicknames Milly and Tilly. Very cute.

Dorothy - I like it! Dottie is cute nickname, too.

Juliette - Very pretty.

Boys:

Anthony - I like Anthony! It's very handsome.

Lawrence - Handsome! Very classic, I love it.

Alistair - For some reason, I've never really liked this name. It doesn't seem useable to me. =/

Hector - Hmm... I've never loved this name either.

Kester - I like it. : )

Ruben -Not my style, but nice.

Girls

Matilda

Very cute, although I would prefer something like Moriah or Marrilla. However Matilda with the nickname Tilly or Mattie would be adorable. (:

Dorothy

Very nice, I love this name! I think it needs to come back in style. Dorothy is precious. (:

Juliette

Juliette is beautiful, although not my favorite Julie name. My favorite would have to be Julia, however this is very nice as well.

Boys

Anthony

Classic, handsome and strong. I adore the nickname Tony. Love it!

Lawrence

Very handsome and cute. Not really my style, but it's very nice. I like it.

Alistair

Although I prefer Atticus, or something of the sort, this is very nice and I could easily see a young boy named this.

Hector

Again, not my style at all, but this is a fine, solid name. It could grow on me after a while...I guess.

Kester

Very interesting. I can't say I like it, but it's pretty good.

Ruben

This is pretty good. I could see you using it. Very nice.

Overall, you have an awesome name list!

Excellant!

I wish you the best in name luck! :D

Thanks awfully for your opinions guys!

Katie, I didn't know that Kester was a slang word for butt, but since I live in England I don't think it will matter that much. It's actually the Scottish form of Christopher, which is probably the association people I know will think of. Thanks for informing me though!

Does anyone have any suggestions for middle names please? I think I'm sticking with Anthony Coe for the time being, but suggestions for mns for others, or suggestions for names that I might like are more than welcome. I think these are going to be the basis for my new lists, so I need everything guys :P

Thank you Raven! There are some wonderful suggestions!

I like: Matilda Rae, Matilda Leigh, Matilda Valentine, Dorothy Mae, Dorothy Anne, Dorothy Quinn, Juliette Rebecca, Juliette Ramona, Lawrence Noah, Lawrence Kain, Lawrence Gray, Hector Warren, Hector Pacey, Hector Jude, Kester Bennett, Kester Fabian and Kester Gregory. I also like Ruben Alistair, but I have a friend names Reuven, so I think Ruben would just be a middle name to honor him. In that respect, I do like Alistair Ruben also!

Thank you again! And more suggestions will be welcomed!

My head wasn't all there last night, so it took me a LONG time to come up with that list.

Usually, it's so easy. But I just couldn't concentrate so I left out so many ideas... I'll come back to it when I can...

My gosh! I disappear for a day and when I come back there's a huge list on my topic! Thank you so much Yas! I'm going to have a look through this right now because otherwise I won't get a chance before Tuesday, and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms already!

More suggestions are welcomed {still} I'm at a loss for first names that I love right now! Thanks again everybody!

Katie-Nana I think you're thinking of keester/keister for butt! Lol

I love all your names though what would you use as a nickname for Lawrence? Can't say I'm a fan of Larry but I love Lawrence!

I love Dorothy and Juliette for a girl, Dorothy Sarah, Dorothy Jenna or Dorothy Helena nickname of Dottie is absolutely adorable! And Juliette Evelyn or Juliette Matilda maybe.

For boys I'm not a fan of Anthony but I think Anthony and Coe work well together. Lawrence Michael or Lawrence Peter, Alistair is cute, I think Alistair James flows really well together, Hector, very Hispanic and adorable, I love this name though not sure which names would flow well with it, Kester is unusual but in a good way! I think it would do well with a more traditional sort of name as a middle, sort of like Kester Matthew and Ruben, very adorable! Ruben Oliver or Ruben Samuel has a very stately sort of ring to it!

Thank you Dorcas!

Lawrence would probably be called Lawrie most of the time, but I'm a huge fan of the full name Lawrence, so he'd get that a lot too! I'm not really into nicknames at the moment, though a while back I was obsessed with them! I love Dorothy just the way it is, and Dorothy Jenna is adorable! Juliette I feel would get called Etta, and Juliette Evelyn is cute!

Anthony Coe I think is staying for the minute, and I love Lawrence Peter. Alistair James is nice, and it could honor my uncle. Kester Matthew is nice too! Ruben Samuel is gorgeous, and honors a lot of people I love!

Thanks again!

Do you say Kester differently? I would say it [KEE (like a KEY) ster] which is a slang term for butt. Or would you say it like Hester with a K...[KES ter]?

I'd say it KES-ter, like Hester with a K (:
