We have a sweet baby girl, Nora Kate. Now we are hoping to get pregnant again. If we have a boy, we know we will use the name Knox Elliot. We plan to have a large family, and we also like the boy names Jude and Leo. There isn't really a theme, but as you can see, we usually go for short names.

Can you help us find a few girl names that we can fall in love with? Any suggestions will be helpful!

I have been thinking about the name Joy Anna. It would be a good fit, since we sometimes use Nora Kate as a double name.

Love love Nora Kate. Very adorable.

Isn't Joy Anna a "Duggar" family name?

Hrm...I think Isla Anne goes nicely with Nora Kate.

Good Luck!

Regardless of the Duggars I still think Joy Anna is a lovely name :) though Isla is lovely as well. Good luck!

Some people have an altercation with the way the Duggars are, so I had no clue on that stance.

Isla Anne  , I think, goes very well with Nora Kate and they have the same letters within their names.

How is Isla pronounced? It's very cute!

What do you think of Talia or Lux?

Isla is pron. (EYE la) like Island.

I think Nora & Talia would go nicely together.

I've always pronounced it Ease-Luh or Eye's-luh. Sorry, not good at writing out pronunciations!

I like Thalia and I've always loved the name Lux. What about Hazel?

I like Hazel. I think I like Isla a bit more though. Thalia's nice, but I think I like the prior two a bit more with Nora. I personally don't like Lux very much. :)

Sorry... Hazel doesn't do it for me, but thanks for suggesting! I like (but don't love) Lux, and I know DH wouldn't go for it. I like Talia better than Thalia just because we used Nora instead of Norah. When I see the name Isla, I want to say ICE-la..... does that sound weird?

My first name has been mispronounced and misspelled my entire life, so I want to use something that is easily pronounced and spelled, but I'm not sure if people would have trouble with Isla or Talia.

Anyway, thanks everyone for all the feedback!

I did the same thing when I first saw the name!

WDYT of Scout? Yes, we are big To Kill a Mockingbird fans, and I used to teach high shool English. So I'm wondering if Scout would be a little too cliche? Or if it even sounds good with Nora?

I don't think that Scout is too cliche. I think that people would automatically assume that you named her after Scout Finch but is that honestly a bad thing?
I love two part names like Nora Kate or Isla Anne.

Here's a list of some of my favorites :)

Emma Claire
Eliza Jade
Jade Claire
Ivy Jade (Although this might be too much green)
Zoe Claire
