Paxton seems very trendy. Braxton & Jaxon are pretty popular right now. Preston is more dignified, and will age well, but seems a little snobbish. If they're you're final two names, I prefer Preston. Neither are bad names, just not my style.

My boss just named his son Paxton. I like it matched with a solid masculine middle name like Paxton Carter.

Paxton Daniel has a nicer flow in my opinion. And I personally prefer that name too.
