Nature names have always been my style, but I've really been looking into them for boys :) So far, I like these ones: Finch, Forest, Lake, Grey, Griffin, Cole, Hunter, Linden, Finn, and Cyrus. I've been kinda liking Cedar, but I feel like it sounds like "see-durr" out loud :( What do you think of Cedar? What do you think of these in general?

Here's a bunch of names / combos I've been liking. Could I have some opinions on them? If you dislike any, could I have suggestions?

Eleanora

Genevieve Maia

Naomi Camille

Annika Laurel

Noah Finch

Theodore Finch

Levi Griffin

Cedar Zachary

Finch - Love it. It's quirky but fits in with trendy nature names imo. I had it in the combo Milo Finch for a while. It always reminds me of To Kill A Mockingbird too.

Forest - I like it, but it's not my favourite. It doesn't look like a baby name to me, but the sound of it kind of feels like a baby name. It confuses me :P

Lake - I like it, but again, it's not my favourite.

Grey - Cute. Considering adding it to my list as a middle. Not sure if I prefer the Grey or Gray spelling, but it's handsome.

Griffin - Reminds me of Harry Potter, but I like it. It also reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, because I believe there's a Griffin in that, but I could be mistaken. It's handsome, but I'm not sure I like the fact that people might call him Griff, it sounds a bit like gruff to me.

Cole - Very nice. I like it a lot more than some of the longer forms.

Hunter - Not my favourite, but it has a handsome sound, and I can see it aging well.

Linden - Love it. Probably my favourite from your list. A lot of people say that it's girly, and maybe it is a little bit, but for me it will always have a masculine feel.

Finn - I like it, but probably more as a nickname. Love Finnegan as a longer form.

Cyrus - Reminds me of Miley. Also of a friend I had in sixth form, my other friend used to call her Cyrus, no idea why lol. It's cute though, and it has a sort of exotic feel to it.

Cedar - I like it, although to me it seems very Hunger Games-ey. Not sure if I could picture it on an actual child, but it's cute, maybe in the middle?

Eleanora - I like this name, although seem to prefer Eleanor, which is unusual lol. I like all the potential nicknames, and the fact that it sounds princessy.

Genevieve Maia - Very nice combo. I love the foreign feel of the name, but it also feels very familiar at the same time.

Naomi Camille - Sweet, but not my favourite. The repeating mi sounds are a bit weird sounding, but overall the name has a sweet feel to it.

Annika Laurel - My favourite of your combos. So sweet and gorgeous.

Will do boys another time :)

Thanks so much Hannah!

Its kinda sad.. I've never even read To Kill a Mockingbird :o I should get about that as most everyone reads it in high school, but yeah.. hehe. I've also never watched Harry Potter lol! So both Finch and Griffin don't relate to either... :/ Both are so popular though do you think everyone would just think of those two connections whenever they hear the names? (I can't remember if theres a Griffin in Alice in Wonderland.. hmm!)

Is there a Cedar in The Hunger Games? I haven't watched it in forever.... since it was in Theaters lol

It sounds youthful to me, Eleanora does :)

I see what you mean about Naomi Camille though, they do have the repeating sounds.. oh well. I've not necessarily fallen in love with it, I'll keep looking <3

Noah Finch - Very handsome! It's short and sweet, and I like the sounds combined.
Theodore Finch - I like this too, but I think I prefer the first combo, this feels too long to me.
Levi Griffin - Cute!
Cedar Zachary - I feel like Zachary Cedar flows better, but it's cute.

No problem :-) They might do, but tbh I don't think it would be a problem, they fit in with trendy names, so I think that's probably what people will think.
I believe his name is Seeder, and I think he's a mentor, but he might not have been mentioned in the film, or I might have imagined him lol. I get what you mean about Eleanora, it does have a youthful feel. Yeah, I mean it's not too obvious, but once you notice it it's hard to stop lol.

I love Nature Names but only have a small handful I would seriously use for Boys but you have mentioned 3 of them and introduced me to a new beauty, thank you! :)

Finch - This is a delightful name I haven't come across before, but I think it's gorgeous and would go beautifully with two of my favourite Girls' Nature Names, Lark and Wren!

Griffin - Possibly my current FAVOURITE Boy's Nature Name! Strong, mature and elegant but still good for any age! There most certainly is a Griffin in "Alice In Wonderland" and his best friend is a Mock Turtle! :D

Linden - This is a delightful name and I would definitely use it except that it is the name of a friend of mine who is actually a professional Gardener and, believe it or not, he has a Female Nature Name for his Surname too! :D

Finn - I LOVE this name and would definitely use it except that it doesn't work with our Surname. I first came across Finn, and fell instantly in love with it, while reading Guy Gavriel Kay's "Fionavar Tapestry" in which Finn is the exceptionally beautiful, tenderhearted and selfless adopted Brother of a little Boy named Darien who needs to choose between joining forces with his evil father to destroy the world or following the seemingly hopeless path of good which his Mother represents. The love of Finn gives Darien the strength to choose!

Cedar - I first came across this name when someone gave it to me in a Name Game and I really like it pronounced the Australian way "SEE-dah"! It is strong but gentle and works quite well for most ages although I can't really picture it on a Baby for some reason.

I actually really like or LOVE almost all of your names and combinations!!

Eleanora - I LOVE this name and agree with you that it has a younger, sweeter feel than Eleanor. I also LOVE Leanora!! My favourite combination is Leanora Crystal! For Eleanora I love Eleanora Serene, Eleanora Marliese or Eleanora Faith!

Genevieve Maia - GORGEOUS!! I love both these names together and separately!! Sweetly sophisticated and perfect for any age!!

Naomi Camille - I have tried so many times to like the name Naomi as it fits in so well with other names which I love, but I just find it awkward for some reason I'm afraid! Camille feels and looks unfinished for me unfortunately, sorry!

Annika Laurel - I love Love LOVE this name combination and both names individually, especially Annika which is on my own Favourites List and has been for years!! A sweet, gentle lovely name for all ages! :)

Noah Finch - This is a fabulously ADORABLE combination!! LOVE it!! :)

Theodore Finch - Theodore is one of my All Time Favourites but, for me, it doesn't quite work with Finch. I think the problem is that Theodore is long and elegant whereas Finch is short and sweet! However both Theo Finch and Teo Finch are ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!
With Theodore I prefer:

Theodore Anthony
Theodore Asher
Theodore Malachi
Theodore Lothar
Theodore Friederich
Theodore Sebastian

Levi Griffin - I'm not usually very keen on Levi but this name combination is GORGEOUS!!

Cedar Zachary - Lovely combination and individual names! :)

I like nature names too, but would seriously consider using only a few as a first name. Middle names, I'm a little more flexible with.

Finch - A nice alternative to the ever-rising Finn. It's not my favorite, but it could work. The connection to Atticus Finch is a plus!

Forest - It's a nice name, but I'd never use it myself. The connection to Forrest Gump is too much for me.

Lake - Not really my style. I picture a ponytailed guy with a ukulele.

Grey - A very handsome name! Sort of a newer form of names like Ray and Jay. Some might say there's too much of a 50 Shades connection, but I don't think so.

Griffin - Strong and handsome, also has a nice meaning. My second favorite of your nature names.

Cole - I dislike this name because of a personal association, but I'm sure a cute baby named Cole would turn it around a little for me.

Hunter - Another name I associate with a rather unpleasant acquaintance.

Linden - My favorite from your list! Lots of people think of it as feminine, but I like it better for a boy.

Finn - I used to like this name a lot, but its recent popularity has removed it from my list. It's a nice name, but I prefer Flynn.

Cyrus - A nice name, probably my third favorite from this list. It's on my short list for a boy because my husband loves it.

Cedar - I agree that this sounds very Hunger Games. Maybe because it's close to Caesar, as in Caesar Flickman or whatever his name was? I do think it could work in real life. It's strong, but not overly macho.

Some other nature names for boys: Birch, Ash, Canyon, Oak, Pike, Fox, Branch, Pine, Wolf/e, Robin, Heron, Orion, Brick, Talon, Aries, Jet, Rowan, Hawk, Mars, Green, Sterling, Dune, Frost, Navy, Jasper, Clay, Flint, North, Ranger, Steel, Slate, Cliff, Field, Tide, Ridge, Sage, Leaf, Sorrell, Ford, Hudson, Wade

Eleanora - Great name! Very elegant, and comes with lots of nickname options; Ella, Ellie, Nora, Nori...

Genevieve Maia - I've never been a big fan of Genevieve, but this combo is nice.

Naomi Camille - I'm not a big fan of Naomi, but I do like Camille as a middle for it.

Annika Laurel - I love Annika, and Laurel is very pretty with it. Anya Laurel would be pretty as well.

Noah Finch - Nice combo, though Noah is a little blah for me. But Finch makes it more interesting.

Theodore Finch - I like Theodore, though I prefer the feminization Theodora. Theo is a cute nn, though I personally prefer Ted/Teddy.

Levi Griffin - Nice combo.

Cedar Zachary - Very nice! Zachary Cedar would work as well.

As a general disclaimer, I'm not always a fan of word / nature names... I personally anticipate teasing potential with many (though obviously not all) of them.  Here's my opinion on the singles you mentioned:

Finch - I prefer Finn.  However, I like the sound of Finch, especially because of the literary connection (To Kill A Mockingbird).  I think I would prefer it as a middle name though.

Forest - To be honest, I've never cared for the name Forest.  Not sure why, just not my style.

Lake - Hmm.  Lake sounds more feminine to me, actually.  Not sure why.

Grey - I like Grey, and Greyson / Grayson.  They both seem more useable to me than, say, Finch or Lake, for example.

Griffin - Same with Forest - I personally have never liked this name, sorry!

Cole - Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the connection to nature?  Cole is a handsome name though.

Hunter - Same with Forest and Griffin, sorry!  I think I personally dislike Hunter just because I don't like the meaning of the word as a name.

Linden - I love Linden!  I would be excited to meet a little boy with this name.  I think it's very useable and is due for a revival, especially since it has a presidential air to it in the U.S. because of Lyndon B. Johnson.

Finn - Very cute and handsome!

Cyrus - Nice, but I personally think it's a little too close to Miley Cyrus.

Here are some comments on the combos / other names you mentioned:

Eleanora - I personally prefer Eleanor, but Eleanora is nice too... just a little long, in my opinion!  I love all of the nickname possibilites that it has.  Here are some middle name suggestions:

Eleanora Lake

Eleanora Maeve

Eleanora Gwen

Eleanora Grace

Eleanora Paige

Eleanora Jade

Eleanora Jane

Eleanora June

Eleanora Mae

Eleanora Joyce

Eleanora Quinn

I also think Eleanora would make a really nice middle name, especially when paired with one-syllable first names to balance out the flow - for example, Maeve Eleanora, Grace Eleanora, Jade Eleanora, etc.

Genevieve Maia - I think Maia Genevieve sounds a little better, but both names are nice.

Naomi Camille - Not my style, but pretty!

Annika Laurel - Love the sound of this combo!  Annika is so spunky and cute.

Noah Finch - LOVE!

Theodore Finch - LOVE!

Levi Griffin - Very handsome!

Cedar Zachary - Not a fan of Cedar, sorry!  Zachary is handsome though.

Hope this helps!

Noah Finch is cute.

I also like Grey as a name
