Yep, my feelings about this name exactly. Rocket would have been okay as a middle name, as long as it is paired with a normal and girly first name, for example: Isabella Rocket. Not a fan.

I've seen worse, I've seen better. This name falls somewhere in the middle for me. I definitely don't hate it, although more than likely when people hear the name they'll think "boy", which is unfortunate. I'm not a fan of putting such (usually negatively when referencing a person) descriptive adjectives in a person's name; it sound like the parents have a set idea in mind for the sort of person they want their child to be. I feel like often when parents don't want to use "meek" sounding names (especially when naming a daughter), they go too far in the opposite direction and choose extremely daring names instead; I feel like that's sort of what happened here. Let's hope their daughter doesn't turn out to be the introverted, bookish sort of type, for their sake. Awk. 
That being said, I absolutely ADORE their last name and would have liked to have seen some alliteration to play it up.

I think either name would be better paired with something different, however I don't care for them together.
I also think Rocket would be much more appropriate on a boy because nicknames like Rocky/Rock seem more masculine.

to be honest, I didn't really like it at first, but as she's gotten older and the videos they've posted of her, it seems to fit her quite well and it's beginning to grow on me.
