My cousin and his wife are expecting their third son in about a month. They already have two boys, Sheamus Isaiah Dermott and Alexander Xavier Declan "Alex." This new baby is going to be named Dallace Ross Sage. Dallace is pronounced like Dallas. Originally, his second middle name was going to be Marshall, but my cousin vetoed that name. So, thoughts? I was actually kind of surprised that they didn't include an Irish name somewhere, since their other two boys have Irish names, and their mother has said before how much she likes Irish names. (Ross is Scottish, though, and they have a Scottish surname, so maybe that's how she's incorporating a Celtic name). As far as the combo itself goes without comparing to their other two boys, I have to say I'm not crazy about it. Firstly, it's little heavy on the S sound. The flow isn't terrible, I just wouldn't use those names together. I like Ross and Sage, but I've never been a fan of Dallas, and I don't like the spelling Dallace. I generally don't like alternate spellings. I feel like it just sets a kid up for a lifetime of people misspelling their name, but I digress. So, what do you all think?

I'm not a fan of that spelling either. And I agree, the S sounds next to each other is a bit awkward.

I like the traditional spelling of Dallas over Dallace. It just doesnt look right. And I agree with the heavy on the S

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. As far as I know they're just going to call him Dallace, but that spelling would make sense if they wanted to use the nickname Ace.
