just need one name, but I'm not sure whether to make it weird or normal or some where in between. the charater will come back towards the end for a shock to the main ones. should i make it a name that is memorable or a name that you have to go back and reread for???

Lunet is pretty. Is it loo-net or luh-net? Either way, the spelling Lunett or Lunette might be something to consider.
It also depends on the style of the story. If the character is sort of plain-jane, you might want to go for Luna. If she's more elegant, maybe Lunetta? Of she's in-between, Lunett is perfect.

Maybe you could go for a different kind of word name? Mercy, Ever, True?

I love Faith! But Lunet is my vote I think if the name is plane-jane, then people are less likely to remember she existed or whatever. A bit of a stand out (but not a big stand out) such as Lunet sounds nice! It is pronounced Lou-net, right? And not Lynette? Cause if it's Lynette then this spelling would work better
Depends on the entire story, really Cause if everybody else has names such as Faith and Grace, than naming her Lunet would kinda be odd. But if you have a bunch of Sarai's, Azaria's and Quina's, than a unique name would fit in swell! My stories tend to have a mix of normal/unnormal names, like I'll have a story with main characters: Renee, Roxy, Bronte, Annabel, Willa and Lyric. Some more familiar than others...
Good luck!
