Rose-Lynn vs. Roselyn vs. Another spelling

Baby girl middle name is after both my moms middle name, Lynn and my MILs middle name, Rose. I feel like Roselyn looks better but would people still pronounce it rose-lynn or would they say rawz-lynn? Is there a different spelling that would get the pronunciation of Rose-Lynn?

It's just a middld name so I don't think it's all that important how people will pronounce it on the first try. I think Roselyn looks best.

K girl, didn't say it wasn't important or part of your identity, just that the convenience of people knowing how to pronounce it immediately isn't a big deal when people will rarely need to pronounce it immediately. Roselyn looks pretty written down and honors the moms and that's the purpose here. I notice that you didn't offer an opinion or help to the poster, girlie.

Don't worry about that other guest, someone's cranky for no reason.

I like the spelling Rosalyn but if rose-Lynn is the desired pronunciation I think Roselyn is the best bet.

I feel like people just voted Roselyn because they dislike hyphens.That is my cousin's name and I've never heard anyone pronounce it any other way than rawz-lynn.
If you want people to say it your way I definitely think you need to go with Rose-Lynn (which I love by the way!)

No, it can also be pronounced as Rose-lyn. I think Roselyn looks the prettiest written down (though I don't mind hyphens, so the other way is pretty too 😊). In the end, it's what you prefer that matters.

I knew a Roselyn who pronounced it "roz-eh-lyn", but I really think it could go either way.
