Rowan vs. Owen
I’m trying to decide between the names Owen and Rowan for my son. They are so similar so it’s hard to decide which I like best. Owen is ranked #38 on the SSA baby name list while Rowan is #301. I like that Rowan isn’t nearly as popular as Owen is because I don’t want the name to be too common. And Ro would be a cute nickname if I went with Rowan. So I think I’m leaning for towards Rowan, but I still can’t get Owen out of my mind. I just need your opinion on the two names. Thanks so much.

I like both, but would probably choose Owen just because Rowan is unisex and I know two little girls with the name. Both names are nice, tho. :)

I totally understand your dilemma because I also adore both of these names. Unfortunately for me my husband wouldn’t consider these. I would go with Rowan also but I also love Owen so much.
