Use What You Love vs. Find One More Girly vs. (Read To Understand)
First little girl is due in February. This baby overall is long overdue. We've been trying for almost 5 years and have finally been given our fourth child. Our three sons are Cole Micah(15), Braden Cash(13) and Samuel "Sammy" Ian(8). We have loved the name Saige for a girl for so long and finally have the chance to use it. But have seen comments about other unisex or not-frilly names that they aren't female enough if she is our only girl. We aren't planning on this being our last child, but of course it's not a guarantee that we will have another daughter next time. Feel free to offer your opinions negative and positive. Sage would he her middle name of we have to find something else for her first name. Thanks. ~Kate

If you love it, use it! However, if this is your last child, then this will be the one chance that you have to name a child something beautiful, and girly.. I do prefer sage as a middle name, instead of a first name, but it's not my kid! You will always regret not doing what your heart says😊 Then 5 months later you could be paying 500 $ and 22 hrs to fill out the pay-perwork to change her name. The point is, go with your gut😂😊👍🏽 hope this helps!! Congrats on the baby!!

Sage is a pretty name and if you love it, use it. If you are questioning then play around with some more girly names with Sage as a middle then decide. Write them down on paper and see what they look like, say them aloud.

Im a fan of really frilly names on girls, but I can understand that some are not.
Sage to me is all girl. Maybe pair with a girlie middle name (remember girlie doesnt have to be frilly- they are different categories)
Sage Genevieve
Sage Eleanor
Sage Lillian
Sage Olivia
Sage Emily

Use it if you love the name it's your child no one else's cos you could end up regretting not using it the end and your the one that will have to hear her name everyday. So I'll say go with the name if that's the name you really want to use.

Sage is a beautiful & meaningful name - it is a type of spice & conotes a wise person - but the "i" is unnecessary. Don't even hesitate - Sage is a winner! :-)
^ Just fyi - You may also like Sadie, which is a sweet & "girlier" name that has the same long "a" sound as Sage. GL!
You've been waiting a long time. If you still love this name after so many years, I think it unlikely that you would regret using it. Saige, especially spelled this way, is easily recognized as a girl name. Something like Jordan might be a little more confusing, but I don't think you'll have any trouble with Saige.

Another question that mostly just my husband has is, does Saige go well with Cole, Braden and Samuel? They are all more traditional names(Braden may be seen as trendy these days but it's still a pretty traditional English name that's been around for ages and it also derived from the old age Gaelic Irish surname Ó Bradáin) and Saige has more boho/hippy vibes to it and not so traditional.
Our previous full name choices for Saige if we were to have a girl during my second and third pregnancies were Saige Eliana and Saige Brielle. If we were to use a different first name we have actually also recently fallen love the two names Brenna and Mallory since finding out we are pregnant again, Saige is just the name we've loved longer but we could obviously still use it as a middle name with Brenna or Mallory. Maybe I should just make a new poll later to choose between the 3 instead? Thanks!

Sage Brielle is very pretty (I prefer it over Eliana), but both Brenna Sage & Mallory Sage are gorgeous! I think Brenna & Braden may be a bit close, though, so Mallory would be your best bet between the two. Also, of all 3, Mallory sounds best with your sons' names imo. Definitely make another poll with Sage Eliana/Brielle, Brenna Sage & Mallory Sage and see what happens. Best of luck to you! :-)
I love Sage and don't think it needs to be "frilly." You could always use a longer, frilly middle name! The i looks unnecesssaryvand makes me dislike it though. Sorry, that's just my opinion. Visually, Sage all the way!
