Names vs. like Lila

I have always wanted to name my first daughter Lila. Something about it struck me the first time I met a Lila, probably 10 years ago or so. My husband and I are expecting our first, a little girl and unfortunately he doesn't love Lila like I do. Respecting his wishes, Lila will not be used for our daughter, but we are still struggling to find a name we both love. I am looking for suggestions of names similar in feeling to Lila. To me, it feels fresh and airy, spunky, yet recognizable if that makes sense. I don't want something too similar name wise such as Lily, as maybe eventually, my husband might like it enough to use for a middle name for a possible second daughter. This little girl's middle name will be Joanne/Jo after my mom. Thank you in advance. -Naomi

Wow, thank you all so much. Some great suggestions so far. I will definitely be going through all of these with my husband, but some I do like are: Violet, Molly, Callie, Eden, Hattie, Willa, Rosalie, Lola, Margot and Maisie. Thanks again!

I really wish your husband liked Lila because I think Lila Joanne/ Lila Jo is absolutely adorable. The first names that come to mind that would be somewhat similar is; Layla, Leah, Nora, Willa, Liana, Luana, Luella, and Olivia.
