No, sorry.

Bellamy is a surname and those usually feel masculine to me. But I'm also aware how Bellamy is being used for girls now. But my biggest drawback is a weird one. Growing up I watched BBC's "Upstairs Downstairs" and the Bellamy family always comes to mind first. It's like naming a child Huxtable or Dunphy and not thinking of the TV families. I don't expect anyone else to have this reaction to Bellamy. But you did ask for our reasons.

If Bellamy is a family surname for you and you want to hand down heritage then that is different. Even then I'd keep Bellamy as a middle name for your son. Good luck! :0)

I love the name but only on a girl.
I strongly associate the name with actress Bellamy Young but I'm sure even if I didn't I would still think of it as girly because even when you look at the name it's as if the two girl names Bella and Amy were put together and Bella would be a very obvious nickname for it.I know others may see it differently but I find it to be very feminine.

I think Bellamy works as a unisex name.
Bellamy nn Bell, Bells, Beau, Liam would be cute for a boy.

Maybe you could like Jeremy.

I think it is a pretty sounding name and it sounds feminine to me. I think having Bella in the name makes it really girly to my ears.

Bellamy is actually a boy name. It is originally a French male name.
And surnames, like Bellamy, are historically reserved as masculine names.

I always thought it was a boy name. People on here want to only see it as a girl name
It's masculine though
A great middle name

I know it's technically unisex, but personally it sounds very feminine. I wouldn't use it on a boy.

Bellamy is one of my top picks for a boy. Although, I'm one of those people who would still use Harper for a boy despite it's popularity for girls. I came across the name in a book (and TV series), The 100. The character's name is Bellamy Blake. Once I heard it, I researched it and found it to be a surname which, I believe, solidifies my love of it for a boy. The meaning, "beautiful friend" suits either a boy or girl. It could work for either, but my personal preference is masculine!
