       DH: Leif Elliott (38)

       DD: Cleo Lauryn (16)

DD: Primrose Lark (34)

DS: Hayden Orville (30)

Year 41: With the kids getting a little older, I decide it's time to get a job again. I apply for a writing position with the Seattle Tribune, but unfortunately I am rejected. This does not discourage me, but as I search for a more lucrative job, I decide to take on waitressing at a local diner as a way to make a little bit of cash

Year 42: Stella decides to pick up the viola! She is not very good at first, since she is deaf and has to use her not-super-high-tech implants to hear, but she is improving every single day and her drive to succeed is admirable!

Year 43: Starting middle school is a big step, so Glenn and I are so proud when Lyla joins the dance club! Her and her friends go to meetings and try different styles of dance from all around the world!

Year 44: I feel myself getting out of shape, so I decide to join a novice master's rowing club! The people are all so friendly, and the sport is very demanding but incredibly fun!!

Year 45: Glenn has been having weird reactions to the food I've been making, so we went to the doctor to find out what is wrong. Turns out, he has a very severe gluten intolerance, which means he can't have things like bread or pasta. We decide to take this challenge on as a family, and all commit to being totally gluten-free

Year 46: This year, Glenn gets to take a business trip to Indonesia to do some journaling. He takes me along too, and we leave the kids with my dad Harrison and stepmom Leora while we enjoy some alone time in the Indonesian sun

Year 47: I notice a suspicious lump in my breast, so I go to the doctor to get it checked out. Luckily, it is benign, but I still need to get surgery to remove it so it doesn't develop any further

Year 48: This year, we decide to take our family on a road trip! We drive all around the state of Washington, and stop at all the National Parks and natural wonders!

Year 49: Unfortunately, things just haven't been working out for Glenn and me. We've been fighting so much and decide that, for the sake of our kids, it's better to get a divorce. It'll definitely be scary living without him, but I'm excited to start this new chapter in my life!

Year 50: I am still working at the diner, which is not where I thought I would be, but after work my supervisor pulls me aside and says that I've been doing such a good job that they want to promote me to head manager! I get a significant pay increase, and now work more hours and have more responsibilities

Year 51: My best friend from work, Rosemary Laurel, admits to me that her husband has been mistreating her, so she temporarily moves in with her 11 year old son, Teddy MaxwellRosemary and Teddy only live with us for a short while until they find their own apartment, but it feels good to help out a friend.

Year 52: In order to relax my muscles, I decide to start taking a yoga class. It takes me awhile to get used to it, but once I really get into it I end up loving it!

Year 53: In a miracle pregnancy, my sister Primrose Lark and her husband Peyton Eugene Ivolet give birth to identical twin boys! They didn't think it was possible, due to Primrose's age, but the boys are born nonetheless. Unfortunately, Campbell Roan dies shortly after being born due to complications during the birth, but Flynn Wallace is happy and healthy.

Year 54: Unfortunately, I come down with pneumonia again shortly after my original bout with it. This time, it does serious damage to my lungs, and I am forced to leave my rowing team for my own health and personal wellbeing.

Year 55: I decide it's time for us to get another pet, so we adopt an elderly cat named Kit. Kit is a long-haired orangey cat, who is greying. He loves the kids, especially Noel, and always sleeps with him at night when he's home from college

Year 56: Unfortunately, I was let go from my job. I was just too much of a liability as a waitress, especially with my severely damaged lungs and my bones getting older. Luckily, the kids have mostly moved out and I have already paid off my house, so I don't need to worry that much about where my income is coming from

Year 57: One night while at the library, a lovely woman comes and asks me on a date. Her name is Miriam Louisa Collins, and she works as a professor at the local University of Washington teaching statistics. We soon start dating seriously, and go on cute dates with each other at least once a week!

Year 58: Although our relationship is moving quickly, Miriam decides to move in with me, and we get engaged! However, soon after we get engaged, her mother, Dolly Ann, has a heart attack. Since she lives on her own, we invite her to live with us. She stays with us for six months until deciding to move permanently into a retirement home, and in that time we all grow closer as a family

Year 59: Miriam and I decide that we need some time away from home, so we take a vacation to Florida! The sunny beaches and piña coladas were definitely what we needed to recharge our batteries

Year 60: One night while in our bedroom alone, I saw some texts on Miriam's phone from an unknown number. I do some snooping, and find out she has been cheating on me with one of her coworkers! I am understandably heartbroken, but Miriam apologizes profusely to me, and we agree to get relationship counseling and work on our communication in order to mend our relationship.
