I was looking up the meaning of my son's name and after 15 minutes of searching, I found out his name doesn't mean what I thought it did
Aasin actually means "on seat". The name I saw in the baby book was Aasim which means "protector" so I got a little dyslexic with the last letters
Giovanni means "God is gracious"
I wish I had paid more attention to name meanings back then
And I also found out today that my husband doesn't like one of my favorite Italian boy names either Matteo doesnt make the list. I'm one sad panda.

I've always loved Matteo, but hubby crushed that dream tonight I'm on the hunt for some more Italian names. I had considered (if we had another baby) trying to have an Italian name in the next baby's name (if it were a boy). Kind of keep a pattern or something.
My husband is just TOO picky. what a big fat meanie.

There's triplets who share a name (Chase Alexander) & their two sisters who are both Brittanys.
I think that's it. Although how some of my family members got their name are entertaining.

Pierce Pierre is a mouthful!
I never paid much attention to name meanings until we had picked out Alyssa Ryan as a candidate for Hayleigh.
Ryan means "little King"
I didnt want my daughter to be a little King

Good point. I try to avoid boy names for girls or even -son or mc- names. My cousin's mn is Mackenzie & another's is Addison. They're both good names I just dislike them on girls.Pierce Pierre is a mouthful!

Pierce definitely has the worst name unless you wanna count my cousin Skeeter (no lie, his name's Skeeter James ln).

I instantly thought about that one character off of that cartoon Doug.. his best friend's name was Skeeter. Holy crap.
