How funny you mentioned River! My best friend just named her son River Dillon.
No other suggestions from fellow posters? We're going crazy trying to find the right middle name!

I really like Soren!
But personally, with it being already unusual (beautiful, but unusual) and your last name being long and greek, I think a short and slightly more common name would be best.
have you considered it?
Anyways, here are some suggestions.
Unusual mn's.
Soren Lucian
Soren Ernest (I would totally use it in honor of E. Hemingway haha )
Soren Jarvis
Soren Achilles
Soren Ashton
Soren Leon
Soren Truman
Soren Atticus
Soren Brice
These are all fairly particular names. WDYT? Do you like any of these?
As far as more common names go, I think Soren David and Soren Grant make great combos.
WDYT?

If it helps, our daughter's names are Ravenna Celene and Thira Vivienne.

Did you know Ravenna is the name of a city in Italy?
Anyway Christos has a very beautiful meaning (Obviously it means "follower of Christ"), but it's a little too much like Christ itself.
Do you like Cristiano?

Yes, we know the city in Italy. And Thira is the ancient name of the island of Santorini in Greece, where my husband is from : )
I'm not sure I like Cristiano. My husband likes Christos because it's a family name, but I agree, it's a bit literal.
Perhaps, since our daughters are named after places, we could incorporate that into a middle name for Soren. Any suggestions?

Maybe you could morph that into something like Kalistos or Calistos, which coincidentally is also similar to Christos.
What do you think?
Here are some other 'place names' that are not too common.
Soren Patras (Patras is also a Greek city,so you can incorporate your husband heritage and have an unusual name).
Soren Trevis (Derived from Trevi, in Rome.)
Soren Kingston (Capitol of Jamaica and a Canadian city
Soren Bray (Irish city)
Are these any good?
