how do you pronounce vs. Tanya?

Is it Tan-ya or Tawn-ya. I thought Tawn-ya was spelled Tonya but eveyone keeps telling me that Tanya is Tawn-ya. I’m so confused please help!

I would say Tan - ya but a lot of people say Tawn - ya....

Tonya would be ton (rhymes with don) - ya

i have a friend called tanya and it is pronounced tan-ya.
a beautiful name.
i dont like it pronounced tawn-ya at all

Tonya is pn like rhymes with don not dawn!!!!

Tanya is either pn Tan - ya or Tawn (rhymes with dawn) ya

I personally dont love either name! But to each his own

Depends on whom you ask. I see TON-ya. But then there is Tanya Tucker, the country singer (TAN-ya)...
