Klaire Melonie vs. Kelsea Melodie

I had named my child (girl) Kennedy cause I loved it! But this woman i knew was about to name her child that but she looked up the meaning and it meant ugly head so now i’m going to rename my child! My question is should I rename or have one of the names on the poll? reply! NEED HELP!

Umm, not to be rude, but if the meaning of a name means that much to you, why didn’t you look up the meaning of Kennedy before you named your baby that. How old is your child now? I wouldn’t recommend changing her name, just because of the meaning.

Don’t change it. Kennedy is darling and the meaning depends on where you look. If the meaning really means that much to you then change it. But when people meet her they won’t know the meaning of Kennedy they’ll just know her name.

Who cares what it means?

Shes only 2weeks old and the reason why i couldnt was because my husband had to fix the computer and it wouldnt work until yesterday!

I think Kenndy is so much prettier than your other choices. I’d keep it. No one is going to judge her on the meaning of her name.

If she’s only 2 wks, it’s not so bad then. But, I still wouldn’t do it, just because of the meaning. You must of loved the name or you wouldn’t have picked it, so I think you should stick to it.

I would not change the name. You obviously liked them name, so go with that. If that meaning bothers you then think of it as associating her with the president.

Leave it as Kennedy!!! It’s a beautiful name, and you apparently thought that before some woman told you that it meant something you disliked.
