We want to name our daughter Richelle, after my mother. But call her Richie for short. Is that an okay name? We have one daughter already, Arabella (Bella). This will be our last child. Our last name is one sylablle, and we were hoping to find a short, one sylablle, unisex middle name like her sister’s (Reece). Thanks, Carly and Henry

I think Richelle is okay. I like Rachael or Raquel better though. For a one syllable unisex name I like Blake, and Blair.

Richelle is cute. My cousins name was Richelle. It was a combination on her father’s name (Ricky) and mother’s name (michelle). However, I do dislike Richie. that is a boy’s name. I would suggest Shelly or stick with Richelle.
