middle names for vs. Vernice and vs. Magnolia

Hey. We’re expecting twins, both girls, and are naming them Magnolia and Vernice after my and hubby’s grandmothers, we also think the names are just pretty and will be unique. We’ll use Nola and Nixie as nicknames (we like that nns start with the same letter, but the initials are different). Which middle names would you suggest? Any ideas are welcomed. And yes, we’re thinking to change Vernice a little bit to Venice (like city). Which do you think is better? Thanks, Carrie.

Aww, Vernice Lorelei is soo lovely! We have two possible ways: pick retro middle names ( as I think magnolia and Vernice are also retro names), or we can pick some trendy middle names like Kylie ar Jamie.

One of them has no middle name at all. Another is Magnolia Billie, which was popular that time but I can’t accept it without a really feminine name with a hyphen, like Billie-Anne or Billie-Jane. So i guess it’s not working.
