WDYTO vs. Diana Katherine vs. ???

I love the sound of Diana Katherine, and I’m seriously considering using it. I mentioned Diana as a possibility to a couple of friends recently and got a poor reaction, however. One of them said Diana sounds like an old lady, and the other said she can only think of Princess Di when she hears the name. Are they crazy? Is it pretty? Should I keep looking?

I like the name Diana Katherine . Even if you named your daughter after Princess Diana what would be so bad about the connection, not like she was a serial killer , she was a gorgeous woman killed way before she should’ve died

I think Diana is an underused classic. I do not think it’s an "old lady" name. While there is some association with Princess Di, that’s not nessarily bad. Ithink Diana Katherine is a great choice.

One of my good friends is named Diana and she is 21. Not ’old lady’ by any means! I think the name you have chosen is a beautiful classy name! My minute is Catherine btw! Bottom line is you can’t please everybody! There will always be someone who doesn’t like the name you do! Go with what you like best!!!

There is no such thing as reminding you TOO much about. Princess Diana! It is a beautiful name, fit for a beautiful and strongwoman. Diana is the perfect name! Katherine: I don’t like the name. Pairing it with Diana isn’t going to change my mind, sorry.

I think you have a beautiful name picked out and wouldn’t change it. Even if she doesn’t want to be called Diana as a child there are several NN options... Di, Ana, Katy, and Kat to name some.
