Sawyer for a vs. Boy or Girl?

My husband just "informed" me that the name of our next child, boy or girl, would be named Sawyer....I actually dont mind the name however our last name is Baldi....Well what do you think? I think that they will get teased mercelessly! What do you think? DH sees no problem.

My friend has a little boy named Sawyer, so I cant see it for a girl. Its a nice name though.

Um.. for a boy its nice, but for a girl on the other hand, its a little masculine. Choose a something similar to Sawyer if the baby is a girl.

Please don’t use Sawyer on a child, boy or girl, whose last name is Baldi. We can’t (or won’t) use the name for a child either, because of our last name.

It’s great if you have a boy but not on a girl.If you want to change your husband’s mind-watch an episode of Lost.I don’t think you’ll ever be able to picture Sawyer on a girl again.
