When our friends decided to name their daughter Anabel, I, too, thought it was bovine. I’ve head it so much since then, though, that I don’t think of that anymore.
I think Anabel or Annabel would be less childlike than Annabelle. Either way, if she decides its too young, she could choose to go by Anna or Belle when she was older.

I love it. Actually, we are expecting a girl and have chosen Annabel. Plus, you have several nickname options - Belle, Anna, Annie, Ann, etc.

I’ve never met an Annabelle, besides my aunt’s cat. I think it would be nice. Ann and Anna are too plain and boring.
