Kent for a Boy vs. Kent for a Girl vs. Kent for Either

Hi everyone. I like the name Kent, but do you think of it as a girls name or a boys? Just wondering, because in a book I read a while ago, there was a girl named Kent, but I think I like it better for a boy. Thanks.

I knew one boy named Kent in high school. Never heard it on a girl and wouldn’t want to. I personally don’t like it for either, but definitely not for a girl! Plus, it is one letter off (sound-wise) from the "c word"
