Teen Mommy vs. To Be.

Hello, I’m Hannah (MissMomma from the community forum). I’m 16 and expecting a boy on August 3rd. I really would like some help finding names for him. Some names I like are Preston, Jasper, Jacob, Emmett (yes I’m a Twilight fan, lol), Anthony, Aidan, Ethan, Evan, Tyler, Noah, Caden, Joshua, and Rylan. Please help!! -Hannah

While, I don’t particularly care for Caden or Rylan, all the names you have listed would be fine.

Thank you :D I like Emmett Lee, and Joshua Preston. I really like Preston as a first name though, same with Jasper. I like Jasper James as a combo for Jasper.

Preston is nice try, not to use the character names since that is obvious but maybe the actors names instead. Example Taylor Jackson after Jasper & Jacob. Our son’s middle name is Pierce after my favorite James bond:)

I don’t really think it’s obvious. Emmett, Jacob, and Jasper are all rather common names.

Congrats!!! I know that you may get negative feedback from some people, but I know that you will be able to do it. Just give him all of your love and attention and you will be great! I dont think you should use a twilight name because you will probobly get enough grief about being a teen. I think Austin, Evan, and Elijah are wonderful names. Good luck

Oh, well i followed her poll as well, and I know having a surprise can happen. My friend was expecting twins and when they were born it was triplets. I think its great.

I’m sad to see that handsome, classics like Jasper are not "Twilight names."

I hate Caden and Rylan

The others are fine

Enroll in a teen parenting program (get a referral from your doctor or hospital) and focus on your studies, rather than spending your time on this site (and others).

Yes, a name is important, but the long term success of your baby is much more so, and that is dependent on you furthering your education and getting all the help and resources you can lined up in advance.
