Amelie Scarlet vs. Emilie Scarlet vs. Emily Scarlet

I like Amelie Scarlet the best, but my husband thinks its too confusing for people to spell. He likes the classic Emily but i think its boring, so i also added an inbetween one Emilie.

Amelie is the best choice...it’s is spelled just like it sounds. We have a precious little girl who goes to our church named Amelie. I love that name. Another cute and similiar name is Amalia.

I don’t love it anymore with that pn, I think it would be better with long a sound

I think I agree with your husband, Emily is the best option! Changing the spelling doesnt make a name less boring...

I like Amelie. It’s different. What about Amelia? I know it sounds different, but it might be better. I think Emily/Emilie is boring and common. Emilie is a confusing spelling, so that’s a bad idea.

It’s pronounced Ah-mel-ee; like homily (which is part of Catholic mass) without the h.
