Mara is so beautiful on its own, it doesn’t need a nickname. Sara doesn’t usually have a nickname, and neither should Mara. It is short enough to be said as is, and is a gorgeous name by itself. If you really want a nickname, do something completely different from the name. Like my name is Katrina, but my nickname is Beanie and has been since I was a baby, and I don’t even know how I got it. My parents just started calling me that. So, if you want a nickname, do something like that. Good luck, Mara is a gorgeous name!

Mara is too short to have a nick name. Sara is prettier imo though. I’ve heard Sara’s have the nick name Sari.

I do like the name Mara. but if you want a nm for it, You could use Mara as the nickname for a longer name. (btw Mara means bitter)

Mara is a great name, great choice
imo Sara is too common and boring. sorry

i think Mara is too short to have a nn, and i don’t really like the name sorry, i much prefer Mary
