I’m Having vs. Twin GIRLS! vs. <333

Hello fellow mommies and daddies! My name is Danielle, I am 16, and 28 weeks pregnant with *identical* twin girls. They are due August 14th, but my doctor expects me to deliver early-mid July. I have decided it’s time to find their names! I want their names to match, or start with the same letter, but not be OVERLY matchy-if that makes any sense at all. I sure do LOOVE those trendy/popular names, but am also a sucker for the classics. Please help me name my daughters, I’m counting on you all!! <333;Danielle

What is <333 supposed to be? That must be some high school lingo I am not familiar with.

I really like Brylie and Braelyn, but am not crazy about the spelling of Braelyn. I think I like Braylin better :D I also REALLY like Alexis (nn Lexie) but don’t care for Alyssa.

Keep the names coming!

<333 is a heart...not some "high school lingo"

I like Leah and Layla, and Abigail and Ava!!

Don’t do Braylin. Braylon Edwards is the name of a big football player.
posted by guest :: 2009-05-26 19:12:48 | report
If it’s a heart, why does it have 3 tops? And if it’s not "high school" how come you and the young ones, like xx mandii are the only ones who use it?
posted by guest :: 2009-05-26 19:13:48 | report
Why are you trying to start drama on my poll? It has three "tops" because I felt like putting it there, good Lord!

Oh, I didn’t know Braylon was a football player’s name, that one is OUT!

Maybe Alexis and Alaina? I like Braylin this way too. More:

I do, however, like Maya, but not with Macy. Maybe Maya and Madison, I do like those!!

It is a babyish high school/middle school way of typing, no respectable adults on here type like that, just teens.
I think it is ok to still type like a kid if you’re not pregnant but if you are you need to grow up.
posted by guest :: 2009-05-26 19:20:35 | report
Wow, it’s not "typing like a kid". It’s kind of like English people putting x’s after they type, meaning hugs. It’s my way of showing hugs, or gratitude...WHY is it such a big deal? Just suggest names for my daughters, that’s ALL I’m here for.

One of your older posts....Okay so, hereís my story, itís long, so bear with me. Iím 15 and am having a baby boy in about 2 weeks time (Iím due on May 17th) I had planned to put him up for adoption, but just recently realized that I cannot even stand the thought of that. I didnít choose to become pregnant, so please donít bash me for my age and decisions. Now hereís the problem. I have not been thinking about names whatsoever. I really really need help finding a name for him!!! I do tend to go more towards the popular names (Jacob, Caden, Carter, Carson, Aiden, Logan, etc) but also like less common names (Wyatt, Austin, Justin, Hunter, Zander etc). Again, please please help me find names for him, I want him to have the PERFECT name! <333; Danielle & Baby Boy................................. hmm sound farmilliar, the hearts and signature are the same...

That is not one of MY posts. I am a different Danielle who just so happens to make a heart the same way. I know LOTS of people that make hearts like that. I just found this website today while trying to find baby names. I’m not having a boy first of all, and I’m due in August, not May. That doesn’t even sound like me aside from the heart.

Put those twins up for adoption and finish your childhood. How do you possibly plan to take care of 2 babies while still in high school? I really hope your parents aren’t going to do everything for you!

Yikes....why does this always happen? Just ask for names, no life stories...we can all suggest and select names with out know one thing about the poster other than the name choices..now we have drama.

I can never understand how someone can have no clue what to name their child...it makes no sense...difficulty between choices, yes, but no clue?
posted by guest :: 2009-05-26 19:27:59 | report
There are lots of Danielle’s, lots of pregnant teens, and lots of girls who like the heart thing. I have seen quite a few on here recently. All of the people who are pregnant are girls, and Danielle was a popular name about 16 years ago, so just leave her alone.
posted by guest: jen :: 2009-05-26 19:29:04 | report
I never said I had NO clue what to name them. I do have a list of names I like, sure, but I wanted to look for more since I really don’t love any of those names. I didn’t know it was *bad* to post my age.
posted by guest: Danielle :: 2009-05-26 19:29:44 | report
THANK YOU, Jen! I don’t know why this turned into drama over a stupid little heart.

I agree, I looked up the post, maybe try using a different name if you are going to make fake polls, or use a different signature, sure lots of people use hearts, but not <333;Danielle
posted by guest: Amy :: 2009-05-26 19:32:11 | report
That’s what they all say...look at other polls, no ages necessary. i’m not say it’s *bad* just not needed. This is how the drama starts, instead of getting names, you are getting grief.

Because some people aren’t happy about teen pregnancies. They don’t understand that pregnant teens are being forced to grow up quickly and are still trying to fit in with their age group also. I don’t condone teen pregnancy, but once you are this far, there isn’t really much one can say about it. I am glad you are keeping your babies, and I hope that you are mature enough to care for them. Good luck, and like I said, don’t let them bother you and be more mature by not responding to their immaturity.

Not saying my daughters are mistakes at all, I love them more than anything already!

Next time you make a poll just list your choices--that’s it. We don’t need to know your age, or even your name for that matter.

I think it is the "in your face, happy go lucky" attitued (Hello fellow mommies and daddies! My name is Danielle, I am 16, and 28 weeks pregnant with *identical* twin girls), that puts people off..flaunting a teen pregancy just asks for trouble. No, she doesn’t need to hide the fact, but I’ll bet there were other teens on this site who did not post an age and have an attitude, that go plenty of help. I personally know of NO pregnant teens in my area, and I just wonder how many of there polls are real...or just created to cause chaos...who knows. I am happy to help anyone on this site who just asks for naming help without the life stories....

I’m not flaunting ANYTHING. I am a happy person, being pregnant at 16 doesn’t mean I should curl up in a ball and be depressed all the time. I’m almost 30 weeks pregnant, I’m over the whole p*ssed off, depressed, upset stage and now I’m onto being happy and preparing for my babies. There are about 10 girls around here that are pregnant. There might not be any in your area, but that doesn’t mean that we’re not out there.

Some people feel the need to put life stories. I don’t know why, but sometimes it does help with the naming process. If you feel the poll is fake, then just move along. If you don’t want to move along, just suggest names and don’t worry about it. I believe a lot of the polls are fake. Sometimes it is hard to tell, and I would hate to think I hadn’t helped someone who truly needed help. I am not bothered by fake polls, and certainly not by the ones posted by teens. I would rather my teen daughter be at home on a computer making up "fake babies" than out with some loser, making real ones.

Danielle, it’s time to calm down and move away from this poll. You have a lot of choices, select a few and make a new poll of just names. I guarantee you will get help, then. don’t let your age show, stay calm and adult...you can do it and get the help you need.

Oh, I’m perfectly calm...I have found a lot of names that I *like*, but only one set that I *love*, so I think that might be what I name them. Now I need middle names for Kenlie and Keelie
posted by guest: Dani :: 2009-05-26 19:52:58 | report
where did you go to school guest? When you round, you don’t move up one, you round to the nearest 10! (if you are rounding two digit numbers). The 8 tells the 2 to go up, thus rounding it to 30!!! Danielle must have passed math class, while you guest did not!

Keelie and Kenlie are adorable!

Are you planning to use family names for middle names, do you have any ideas, want help with those?

Jen- I don’t really like either of those as middle names, sorry.
posted by guest: Danielle :: 2009-05-26 19:56:24 | report
No--if you are saying things with weeks and she is 28 weeks, she would say that she is almost 29 weeks, not 30. I know how to round, thank you. But everyone knows that if you were to round up in weeks, you would go to the next week you are closest too. You don’t round by 10’s in pregnancy. So if I’m 35 weeks, I should say I’m close to 40 since the 5 rounds up, even though that would be a month away? NO!
