I really love all your names. But in honesty, I think if you use Emerson, you should use a really feminine mn, otherwise people may confuse gender. Emerson and Reese or both unisex. If you lik Emerson I think you should choose Rose instead.

I like Emerson as as name, but if you want to use Reese as a mn, then I think you should use Emily. If you use a unisex fn like Emerson then you really need a girly mn to balance it and so it won’t be confusing to people on paper of whether it’s a boy or girl.

Personally, I think Emerson Reese looks like a boy’s name. I would use a really feminine middle name with the first name Emerson (like Emerson Sophia or Emerson Jane, etc.). I definitely prefer Emily over Emerson, but I suppose Emerson could be cute. I just don’t think Emerson is feminine at all, and I can’t picture it for a girl. Emily Reese is beautiful. Or Emmelyn/Emmalyn Reese.

I LOVE Emerson and it was on my list until a day or so ago. It seems like it does get a lot of negative comments though...which is strange because the only reason we decided to go with something else is because I’ve heard of at least 4 baby girls within the last few months in my area being named Emerson! It’s a great name and I’m sure it’s getting popular...that was my only concern. If that doesn’t bother you, GO FOR IT! I personally think it’s beautiful.

I think Emerson is a name that is polarizing for most people... either you love it for a girl, or you can’t stand it for a girl... that’s why so many speak out against it, and so many others name their daughters Emerson.

I, personally, prefer Emily Reese... but, for the poster, Emerson is a fine alternative for Emily if you don’t want to use Emily.

I agree with the last poster...I absolutely love it, but have read so many times on these polls about people who really dislike.

I personally Love Emerson! I have a baby with this name. I think that it is getting kinda popular I ran into a lady at Wal mart who asked what my babies name was and when I told her it was Emerson she replied that her best friend named her baby girl Emerson but she calls her Emmie. I think that is what the majority of people who use this name do. They shorten it to Emmie Emme Emmy. I personally like the name just as it is and call my baby Emerson. Emmie is getting popular Emerson still is kinda rare. I think Emerson Reese is cute for a girl...Who sees the middle name anyway? Its not like at school she is going to write her full name all the time. Good Luck.Oh and if popularity is an issue.....UM Emerson is nowhere CLOSE to as popular as Emily.lol

Oh and also....the people who dislike Emerson are usually women who are having boys and cant stand anything unisex because they think that there wont be any boy names left for them to use.lol
