yep, she also had 7 devils cast out of her. But she changed. She became one of the most faithful women in the Bible after that. And besides the name is more geared towards places than ppl. Thanks for the comment tho.

The combination you have is cute, but doesn’t flow. Magdalene is supposed to be pronounced magda-leen, not magda-lynn. Everyone will think that it is pronounced magda-leen. Keep the spelling; change the pronounciation, that’s what I think. ;-) I like it a lot if you pronounce Magdalene magda-leen. So what do you think about what I’m suggesting? I like these names:
Bethany Jordan
Bethany Zipporah (name, not place)
Bethany Remuelle
Bethany Vienna (not Bible name, but sure is cute)
Bethany Sabrina (is very cute, but is not a Bible name)
Bethany Joyce (very sweet, but not a place name)
Hope this helps! I can’t really think of any more. :-(

Bethany Moriah is perfection!! ;-D By the way, did you know that Magdalene is not a place? Mary Magdalene was a person that Jesus cast spirits out of.
~Ellie (I’ve been calling myself Ellie because my name is Rachel Leigh and that has a "Ellie" in it--see RachEL LEIGH? It makes it Elleigh! :-D)

Dearest Poll Poster,
I suggest that you make another poll with these names on it and see which one people vote for the most:
Bethany Moriah (as in Mt. Moriah)
Bethany Magdalene
Bethany Rachel
Bethany Arielle
Hope this helps, ~Ellie
PS: Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins (He died instead of us), was buried, and rose again? I just wondered, because you seem like you do. What DO you believe, anyway?

I believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. :-D By the way, do you realize that Magdalene is not a place? Also, why places? Why not Bible names like Rachel and Elizabeth or names like Harmony, Joy, and Faith?

LOL. You are such a happy person Ellie, thats awesome:). Im NOT being sarcastic btw:) Well actually I thought the same thing, until recently. We have a huge Bible dictionary, and it says that Magdalene is a place and is used interchangebly with Magdala. But also used to describe ppl from Magdala. Its hard to just look thru a dictionary tho and gather a bunch of info and name ideas, when u dont have outside opinions to help. You guys are helping alot tho.

Yes Ellie I absolutely believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and rose on the 3rd day. Im so happy 2 c somebody openly talking about this:) As far as places........well I guess we just wanted to be different lol. Im a Southern Baptist so we believe in professing your faith, asking forgiveness for sins and then being baptized. But i also dont believe that religion matters as long as you believe, confess, and repent. We will probably take your advise and post another poll:)
