Girl vs. Name vs. Needed SOOOOON!

Hey! I am almost 16 and due in three weeks with a baby girl. Yesterday, though, my doctor told me that she could come any day now. I still don’t have her name picked out! I’ve been searching and searching since I found out it was a girl, but alas, no name yet. I like trendy names like Sophia, Ava, etc (please don’t suggest those, they’re just an example), and want her to have a girly middle name. I want her name to be perfect. Thank you for any help -Mallory

OHMYGOSH! I’m pretty sure my WATER JUST BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all so much for the suggestions, I’ll be back on in a few days probably, hopefully with a name picked out so I can let you all know, if not, I’ll be needing help naming my daughter.

I know, I was thinking that too...wouldn’t you get up right away and go to the hospital and not take the time to write that your water broke to some random people? I wouldn’t know how fast labor starts after that though, I’ve never had a baby before.

Well, I have had one child. I can honestly say that in my last couple of weeks, I was so miserable I wasn’t thinking about talking to random people online about baby names. I had my name well picked out way before. Not to mention, we were running around trying to get things prepared for the birth of our son! Plus, a very small percentage of women’s water actually breaks on it’s own. Most of the time, it’s Doctor assisted. Some teenage girl, I’m sure.

Last poster you are sooo right. This site has been over run by teens who really just want to play around. When your water breaks you usually go into labor hard and fast!

I personally am know skipping all polls that imply teen mom (like they tell their age for no good reason) and all the multiple births. I hope more people will join me so we can stop wasting our time with kiddies playing around.

Last poster--my water broke on its own, and I didn’t go into any kind of labor until 14hrs and 2 bags of pitocin later. Not that I believe this poll for one minute, but water breaking doesn’t necessarily mean you are just going to all of a sudden go into hard labor.
