I also try to be understanding and longsuffering when someone has a name that I don’t exactly like--like Fate. There are some people with fake polls on here...:-(
I just saw a stupid poll the other day that said, "We want to name our kid after a resturant. Which should we choose? Here are the names--Tomato Sauce, Horsefoot Arby’s, etc" Isn’t that just plain stupid? Those people think that it’s a joke! :-(
Probably some teens.....do you second that about being weird? It wastes other people’s time, and takes up the space that people with REAL name dilemmas need.

Mallory - Pros: Lovely and uncommon,
Cons: The more I say it, the more I think of Malaria (disease caught from mosquitos)

Bethany - Pros: Cute nn "Beth,"
Cons: Name is sometimes listed as meaning "House of Poverty"

Michelle - Pros: Pretty and uncommon for this generation,
Cons: It has a very religious meaning which could be good or bad depending on your view of religion

Alyssa - Pros: Feminine and pretty
Cons: Spelling could be tricky for some.

Gabrielle - Pros: Heaps of cute nn’s, Gabby, Brie, Brielle, Elle
Cons: May be mistaken for the more masculine Gabriel, also Gabrielle is getting very common.

I also liked Jessica which you’ve now eliminated from your list.
