Definately tolerable. I don’t like Nate, Nathan is better, but Carter - super cute. Maybe that should be his first name.

You could use Nathaniel Carter for a full name, and then use Nathan or Nate as a nn.

Thanks!! We don’t like Nate so thats the only thing we are worried about that he will wanna go by Nate or ppl will call him that..lol We also thought of Carter Nathan but everyone thinks Nathan Carter flows better. He will go by Carter either way most likely. Who knows, I’m only 5 months so I still have a while to decide. ;)

My son’s name is Nathan and we go by Nathan or Nate. I like that we can shorten it to Nate if we want to. I agree with pp that Nathaniel Carter sounds better than Nathan Carter.
