I love Lauren...it is very pretty. Does the spelling Richelle mean something special to you? If not, I think Rachelle would be a prettier spelling of the name...it is easier on the eyes and nicer to hear.

Good Luck :)

No, not another Lauren! We’re EVERYWHERE! Don’t get me wrong, I like my name, but I was born in 1981, and I don’t think Lauren has fallen out of the top 20 girls’ names since. There is an overpopulation of Laurens in the world!

yes, Richelle is my middle name. So my first daughter will have my middle name.

Yes, there are a lot of Laurens....I know I teach 17-22 year olds! However, there are also a fair number of Taylors. Kyndall seems too contrived due to the Y. Actually, Kendall, Lauren, and Taylor were all popular 80s and 90s names that still are being used.

Though Lauren is popular, I know plenty my age (I was born in the early 90s’), it’s a beautiful name! The youngest Lauren I know is 8, so I’m not sure how popular it is with girls under the age of 5. I love the spelling Lauryn, and Lauryn Richelle is beautiful! Taylor Richelle would be my second choice, I like the name Kendall just not the spelling. GL!

I’m not crazy about Taylor either, but (and I think I’ve mentioned this on here before) I had a class in high school with SIX other Laurens in it. I was luck because my last name started with R back then, but there were three Lauren S.’s in that class!

What about Lara or Laurel?

Thanks you guys! You’ve been very helpful, but what’s funny is i just told my husband the ratings, and guess what he says..."well i like Kyndall then b/c no one is picking, its more unique". lol! grr. :) Regarding the spelling though of Kyndall, i felt Kendall looked boyish, any suggestions on spelling? thanks though everyone!

I agree with your husband--you don’t want to give your daughter a totally out-there name, but you don’t want her to be named the same thing as five other girls in her class. But...I have to say I don’t like alternative spellings. Kendall has become a unisex name, and probably more a girl’s name than a boy’s name, so I’d go with that spelling. Plus Kyndall looks like it should be spelled "KIN-dall", not "KEN-dall."
