Agnes vs. Carmella vs. Alternatives

My husband’s grandma is named Agnes and he thinks she walks on water (she is pretty awesome!), so he wants to incorporate her name into our daughter’s name (due toward the end of September). I was very close to my great-grandmother before she passed last year, so I’d like to use some form of her name, Carmella. BUT...I think both names are awful! I found Anis as an alternate form of Agnes, but is it too close to "anus"? Does anyone have any ideas for first and middle names that pay tribute to our grams? Thanks!

Help! I love the name Guinevere, but I can't think of a really good brother and sister name for her. Since Guinevere is so empowering, I want the next names to be powerful as well. Thanks, Genie!
Baby Name Genie:
You seek the Holy Grail of names. Let me help you in your quest. The brother of fair Guinevere will fight on foot with swords aplenty, but on his horse he'll surely lance a lot. Name him Edward for a regal name. A sister could be dubbed Katherine if greatness is what you desire.
