Which one to choose... I choose Marissa. This spelling only. Clarissa is nice too.

I really like Lyssa, but feel that it makes a better nick name. I think that if she grows up to become a major business person or someone with a lot of authority, it would be hard for "Lyssa" to be taken seriously. Of the three, I think Merissa could be taken most seriously.

my gramma’s name is Barbie. my other gramma’s name is Dolly. they were/are both successful women! and check out their names, seriously... this is NOT a joke.

I totally agree that it’s the attitude that can make or break a successful person, but in a society where first impressions are so important, I’m just thinking if someone’s first impression is from a piece of paper, stronger names are better.
