Avonlea vs. Middle?
Thanks so much to everyone for your help so far! I’ve posted a couple other polls to try and find a name including the letter V to honor my mom and grandma (Valerie and Verna) and I think we’ve settled on Avonlea (my grandma gave me her copy of Anne of Green Gables when I was a kid, so it has a doubly special meaning for me). Now I need to find a middle name that goes well with Avonlea. I’ll post some names I like in the first comment, but I’m very open to suggestion, because I tend to like unusual names, and I’m thinking maybe her middle name should be a little more traditional than I usually go for.

I like Avonlea Neve the best! It is beautiful!
I like Avonlea Summer best of what you have but I think that a more traditional name compliments the name much better. You could also use another family name for the mn if you have something that would sound good with it..
Not really a fan of what you have...
Love of Avonlea--- I thought of Anne of Green Gables immediately. Are you pronouncing it
A (like the a in cat)- vun-lee, like the book?
I’d go with something shorter and more traditional
Avonlea is gorgeous!
Like anything? GL!
Thanks, everyone! Yes, 5th poster, we plan to pronounce it the way it was in the books. :) I forgot to mention that our last name has two syllables, in case that helps at all.
I like these suggestions:
Avonlea Violet (too many syllables?)
Avonlea Rose (too common?)
Kels, your suggestions are lovely, especially Catherine (I wrote my senior thesis on Catherine de Medici!), but I don’t want her name to have too many syllables. Any shorter suggestions? Thanks again!
