Cayden and Carissa vs. Oliver and Opal vs. Adam and Asley

We want to let our children name our B/G twins due in September. The only issue is, we have 3 children! McKenna (6) want Cayden and Carissa, Talia (6) wants Oliver and Opal, and Aiden (4) wants Adam and Ashley. Which one is best? Mn suggestions? If you vote please comment. ~ Emma, Bryson, McKenna, Talia, and Aiden.

I wouldnt go with Adam and Ashley cuz then Aiden, Ashley and Adam first initals would match. Maybe instead of having them match you could do something like:
Cayden Oliver and Opal Ashley
Oliver Adam and Carissa Opal

There all great names, but I would not do Cayden because it’s to close to Aiden. My favorite combo is Adam and Ashley. Do they have to start with the same letter?

Carissa Ashley & Oliver Adam
Ashley Opal & Adam Carter (close to Cayden)
Opal Carissa & Adam Carter

Even if you do, I love Oliver and Opal. Oliver is so cute and will age great. It is classic, unlike Cayden which is too trendy, and not too popular. Opal is gorgeous and uncommon. It is just a stunning name. I also like Adam and Opal, but I like Oliver a lot more. McKenna, Talia, Aidan, Oliver, and Opal is a great sibset.

But IMO since its what your kids like, maybe you should mix and match to include at least one name from each kids set, so they all feel like they got to help name their siblings.

I love the idea of letting your kids participate, but I think they may be mad if you chose Aidens names instead of Talia’s or whatever the situation turns out to be. I agree that Aiden and Cayden are too close, so why don’t you ask them what other names they all like. GL

Of the pairs you’ve listed, I like Oliver and Opal the best. However, I like the idea of mixing names off of each child’s list even better. Unfortunately, I do agree with others that have said Aiden and Cayden are much too close. I like the suggestions of Oliver Adam and Carissa Opal or Opal Carissa.
