That thought has never even entered my mind! It is a name that I am considering for my son (my poll is directly below yours), and I never thought that. I’m interested to see what others have to say now that you brought it up, though!

I never think of colon when I hear it. I do think it when I see it spelled Colin. I like the spelling Collin a lot better. The extra ’L" removes it that one step farther that is needed to keep it from being to similar

Spelled Colin it’s pn, imo, like colon, like Colin Powell. that’s why I would definitely spell it Collin, with 2 l’s. Like the name, btw.

I like Colin/Collin either way. I never think of Colon. Colin is a wonderful name...don’t worry about him getting teased.

Thanks..i just saw on a website that people teased this little boy sometimes, because his name was Colin. But maybe it’s because Colin is different than Collin. I never thought of Colon either until i saw that. I love the name Collin too. Just thought id ask to make sure..Thanks so much

When I see Colin I think of colon but not when I see Collin.
