Wow--you can already tell the baby is a girl?! I didn’t even find out my first baby’s gender until the middle of July, and she was due in November. You must have a pretty good ultrasound tech, because it is still really early to be able to tell if you are due at the end of December......

I’m 15 weeks, 3 days. I found out yesterday at 15 weeks, 2 days. The tech is 90% sure it’s a girl, there was no little weiner :) You can find out as early as 13 weeks in some cases.

My daughter was born on Christmas Day (talk about an amazing Christmas gift!) and we named her Evelyn Joyce. Since Joy is so popular for a middle name right now maybe you would wanna do what we did and use Joyce which isn’t used much anymore! Here are some more suggestions:

Maybe you could use your name (Mary) as your daughter’s middle name, after all Mary is the mother of jesus which makes it a very christmasy name! I think Noella Mary would be pretty! WDYT?

what kind of clinic would be open for ultrasound appts on a Saturday, led alone the 4th of July? WOW

My niece is due on Dec 21st,she does not know the sex yet.You can’t tell early as 13 weeks.I had a m/c at 14 weeks and they had to check the chroms it see what I would of had.

The earliest a doctor will have a radiologist determine gender is about 12 weeks. Most wait until week 16 through week 20. Determining gender by radiology is not an exact science. A fetus could be in a position where it is difficult to see the genitals. Your radiologist may attempt to coax the fetus into another position where it is more visible. You could also consume something containing sugar, such as juice, (no caffeine!) which will make the fetus somewhat more active. Amniocentesis, if you must have one completed, is fool-proof in determining gender of the fetus through chromosomal testing.

I didn’t write that, I found it on a website. It is true though, as you get further along the tech might push a little on the baby to get it to move so you can see it’s "privates".

But whatever I guess. Thanks to those who helped me, you gave me a nice list of names for my little girl. I don’t see how me finding out the gender at 15 weeks is so unbelievable. God bless you all.

No clinic is going to be open on July the 4th, OR Christmas! Just give it up already. Look up your own names with Christmas meaning, leave out the life story, and you age, and just poll with the list of names you like, because no one believes you now, including me. It is also perfectly fine to poll asking for girl names, without telling us that you "know" you are having a girl. If you leave out the life story, then maybe you will get a better response.

I am pregnant again (we don’t know what this baby is yet) and if it’s a girl we might either go with Noella, Angel, Heaven, Brielle (Brielle means of God) or Belle. You can also use one of these if you would like. The reason why we are doing the christmas/holiday theme again is because this baby is due on January 3rd. Did you like Joyce? If it’s a boy we are either going with Nicholas (st.Nicholas) or Christopher. I’m thinking Christopher.
