Matthew is such a classic name- handsome and will always stand the test of time.

Matthias is trendy? I’ve never heard it anywhere much, which is one reason I like it. Which sounds best with the name Chase?

Matthias is never heard used and so much less common than Matthew. It is not trendy. People on here will lie sometimes to get you to use the more popular or trendy name. It’s the one their familiar with and that’s why they vote for it and say stuff like that. I love Matthias. Where does Chase come from?

I don’t think Matthias is trendy- I just think Matthew is more timelessly handsome.
