Yes they are too close. Use Abrielle and Selena instead.

I think the real problem is that Abigail is a timeless classic, and Abrielle sounds like something a 5 year old would use as a name for her imaginary princess friend.

Go with Abigail and Victoria
or Victoria and Sabrina or Serena (another ugh to Selena-sorry).

I’m a midde school teacher and it is often diffecult to identify which twin is which especially early in the year. Adding the confusion of similar names only compounds the problem. Of course, it really doesn’t bother me, but kids like to be called by their own name. We once had a set of twins that looked so much alike and whose names were so indistinguishable EVERYONE (including the principal) just called them twin. So much for individualism.

Too close! but ESPECIALLY for TWINS! They need their own individuality and having names so similiar when they are already so similiar as twins is mean! They are their own individual people but will always be known as "the twins". Make their names sound good together like any other siblings but DO NOT make them similiar!

I really dislike the name Abigail but like Abrielle, since you can only use one I think you should use Abrielle and than pick a completely different name for twin B
