I like the name Esther.Esther Grace is lovely.I believe it is a Persian name meaning star.I think because people think it is so old fashion.Everyone wants trendy names or pop.My children are Keela and Ewan,I know there will not be three Keela’s in my dd class or Ewan’s.

I don’t have a problem with Esther,it is a good name.I like it.I have a dd Ruth Naomi and some people think it is an old name.I love the story of Ruth and Naomi,Ruth would not leave Naomi to go back to her people.Great bible story....

I like it too. I wouldn’t worry about the people who don’t like it, they are most likely the same people with daughters named Riley and Carson and other horrible trendy things.

I like it. It doesn’t sound old to me, but that’s because I went to high school with a cheerleader named Esther.

By the time your baby is a few months old, the name Esther will have a different association for your family and friends.
