Emmett vs. Edward vs. Jasper

or Jacob? Which Twilight name should I use, I really want to use on for my son! I’m not to fond of Jasper but my husband told me it was his great-great grandfathers name so we are considering it. Which one?

I think you should use a less obvious one. Like Mason (Edwards original LN) or Anthony (Edwards MN) or Charlie (Bellas Dad)

I really can’t stand it when people name their kids after a movie popular of the times.

Emmett is really cute and I’ve always been a fan of Jakob. I think Emmett is less popular though. Hate Edward, I have even watched Twilight or read the books, but I wouldn’t name my son after a vampire.

I dont’ care for the name Jasper, but I like that it isn’t just Twilight, it is a great-grandfather.

I’m not a huge Twilight fan, but I see no problem in naming your kids after it, as long as it’s normal.

Jasper is my favorite from Twilight.

My other choice is Jacob.

Thanks! I do really like Emmett! I did consider Mason, I kinda like that. What do you guys think? My husband is set on Jasper, so that might be the middle name, but I’m not sure. I like Jacob too, but I don’t like Jake.

Jacob or Edward are best, in my opinion. I love the nickname Jake. Also, what about Cullen for a boy? I love it! :D

Cullen’s a really nice name, I’m just not sure if it’s too obvious. I do like it though

I would go with Jasper because it is a family name. So if people asked you you could say you named them after family and not because of the book. Or you could name him Jacob, because it wouldn’t be so obvious.
