I think Candler is adorable! It doesn’t sound anything like Candle, and not everyone has a nn or needs one!

As for the teachers lounge, trust me, we have more names to laugh at than Candler

I guess it is supposed to be Cand-ler but when said it comes out CANd-LER with a slight d in there. Its kinda like Chandler with a C instead of CH
