Briley is my maiden name, thats why I am giving it to my daughter, thanks for your opinion though! I understand that not everyone loves it, but family is very important to me and that is why I am using it! Do you have a middle name that flows well? If not, thanks anyway!

WOW! Briley must be a very popular last name, because alot of people have been wanting to use it because of that reason. And Makenna because of their dad, Kenneth or something...

Briley is just really trendy looking and looks like a bad twist from Riley regardless of it bein your maiden name. I think it would be better as a mn, especially since if mothers give their baby their maiden name in their name somewhere, they don’t use it as the fn. That’s just kind of weird. Makenna sounds best as the mn though. Michaela does not sound right because of the l. GL!

Briley is very common where I live (in Eastern North Carolina), but I did a poll before on these very same middle names and yes they are for my dad Mike and my grandpa in law Kenneth! We still have not chosen a middle name, just trying to get some more input!

Thanks poster 4, We are leaning toward Makenna for the same reason!
Also, I appreciate your opinions on Briley, it is very common in the south (at least in NC) for mothers to give their children their maiden name or the grandma’s maiden name as a first name, I have wanted to name my little girl Briley since I was 5, I used to name my dolls that, I hate that it has become trendy, and that Riley has become trendy, but I have decided I am still going to use it!
