just about anything can be a nn for anythingelse depending on the circumstances. I think thats perfectly fine:) its sounds sweet.

Definitely - and I’m glad you’re choosing to use a full name. Cara is cute as a nn, and Caroline is a great full name.

You could spell it Caraline to make it easier....however I think it would work, my name is Caroline and my daughter’s name is Cara and everyone thinks that I named her after me(which is not the case)
