Do you plan to call her Becca or Becky? If it’s Becca, go with Rebecca. It it’s Becky, I think Rebekah is better. If you don’t plan to call her by a nn, then I like Rebekah.

Rebekah is actually the traditional spelling, as seen in the Bible. Since your husband has traditional style and you like this spelling, I would go with it since it fulfills both opinions!

I like Rebecca-it’s my middle name! Both spellings are great.

For nearly 26 years, I have had my first name misspelled. I would always advise going with the common spelling. Also, you will be able to find her personalized things in the store, whereas with the tweaked spelling, you will have to customize everything.

P.S. I do agree with pp that Rebekah is the traditional spelling, but I would have to say that Rebecca is the more common spelling and would recommend going with that.
