Spenser vs. for a girl?

Hey! My hubby and I like more unconventional, fun names and I just remembered a few years ago I met a young lady called Spenser. I thought it was gorgeous and now that we’re expecting a little girl we’re considering it. What do you think? any more suggestions? Thanks, Karina and Lawson.

I hate boys names on girls. It might seem cute on a little girl, but in an older woman it just sounds wierd. And Spencer is WAY to masculine. Save it for a boy.

I really don’t like the name that much on a boy, but it’s ok. I like it spelled Spencer, though.

She’ll feel odd about it when she grows up, so I’d save it for a boy and therefore avoid personality crisis on her teenage years.

I gotta say, I logged on to suggest Elliott for a girl (sorry, it’s from Scrubs, but I still love it!). But Spenser Avery is nice too. Although I would also prefer Spencer spelled with a "c". Good luck!

No dont use Spenser Avery, use a girly middle name that will compliment Spenser nicely.

Love Spencer for a boy or girl, but not spelled Spenser. I don’t like Avery either. Spencer definitely needs a girly middle name!

I like the idea of using boys names for girls.
My daughters name is Elliotte (Elliot).
I also like the name Riley for a girl.

One word: Ugly. Actually no, two words: HORRIBLE IDEA! Please, please, please give your little girl a GIRL’S names. Plus, don’t you remember how annoying that Spencer Pratt is?

do you realize how mean kids are, i wont have to mention what she would get picked on about!!! please dont name her a boys name, if you love that name so much, get a puppy.
