I like it, but maybe instead of hyphenating, maybe use Anne as the middle name and call her by both?

How about Carly Anna or Carly Ann...a twist on both names.

Cara ending in "A" and Anne beginning in "A" do not flow easily. The two sounds together require a distortion of one of them, or an abrupt air stop between them. Pretty name to read, but an uncomfortable one to say. Consider adding a consonant to the front of Anne to make the name flow smoother. A "z" would be pretty. Or change the last "a" in Cara to an "i". Sorry - I can’t help looking at names with my "speech therapy hat" on!
